According to
Sheriff Benny Deloach on Monday, March 24, 2008 at
approximately 5:50 am officers from the Appling County
Sheriff’s Office along with Georgia State Patrol responded
to a one vehicle accident on Ten Mile Road. Three fatalities
resulting from the accident are as follows: Liana D.
Sutton, age
17, Melanie B. Dover, age 17, and Joshua C, Melton, age 18.
The three were on their way to Jacksonville Airport for
Liana to catch a plane. The Mitsubishi Eclipse paled in
comparison to a stock photo of another Eclipse shown below. We
may never know what really happen. Our hearts and prayers go out to all
the family and friends of these kids.
