The day started out with all the
students coming out to the Annex for a fun filled day of
playing. The students divided up into four groups. They
had Softball, Hula-hoop, Bubbles, Volley Ball, Frisbees,
Sack Races, Soccer, Tug-A-War, Badminton, Kickball, & a
Football Throw. Everyone seem to enjoy themselves in
every way. Even the teachers joined in to play with the
students. Their were even students drawing on the
sidewalk with chalk writing what they learned and what
the day was all about. About 11:00 a.m. they started
serving lunch to the kids. They had hamburgers and
hotdogs. Many thanks goes out to all the people that
cooked and served. Everyone would like to thank Officer
Rushing for a wonderful job he has done with the kids
and for providing education on D.A.R.E.
